About Kismet
Kismet is an Indian restaurant at 558 Hartshill Road in Stoke On Trent, serving a menu that covers familiar curries such as Chicken Tikka Masala and Madras, with Thali also available. The kitchen accommodates dish modifications, from spice-level adjustments to ingredient swaps like exchanging prawns. Coconut rice appears as a side. Diners order at the table after being shown to it on arrival, and the team is attentive and accommodating for large groups of around thirty. Takeaway and collection are taken by phone or in person rather than through third-party delivery services, with Food Hub specifically named as one to avoid. “Everyone's going to Banarasi in Newcastle!! They've only been going about 18 months and now have over 4,400 Google Reviews - wow - unbelievable - virtually ALL of them 5 star!! My ratings for Kismet are below following a number of visits to pick up a takeaway:”

“We came this evening with a couple of friends (4 adults). Very warm welcome at the door, then shown straight to our table. Service was very jovial and attentive but not over baring. Food arrived quickly and it was piping hot. I had the Thali and it’s one of the best I’ve had. I asked them to make a slight change as I don’t eat prawns which they were more than happy to do. Also the coconut rice was out of this world. This is the first time we’ve dined here, it certainly won’t be the last, highly recommended.”

“WOW! Just been for a meal with my team from work. The restaurant is lovely and would be suitable for celebrating any occasion. The staff are very attentive, friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them. If you ask for something different and they can do it, they will (and did). The food itself is phenomenal. Deliciously tasty, very generous portions and cooked to perfection. Absolutely recommended and I will definitely return. Well done Kismet!”
