Customer Review Summary
The complaints centre on cost, breakfast timing and kitchen slips. Several find the food pricey for what it is. One family arrived at 11:30 and was refused breakfast despite a menu and board saying it runs until 11:45, then offered only pancakes with a toddler in tow. Another reviewer describes under-cooked poached eggs, bread so hard it was inedible, and a replacement that arrived with a burnt bun and a cold dish. One diner notes ants crawling over their table, though they accepted it as part of being on a farm.

“We recently had a great breakfast here. Delicious eggs Benedict. Great view of the horses leaving too. Only point is they seems to have an ant problem as they were crawling all over us! I’m not complaining though as being on a farm it’s kind of expected.”

“Wonderful people, genuinely passionate about the place for all good reasons. The area is calmingly abundant in scenery. Sitting there, in a cozy environment, whilst watching horse care, and horse treks taking place. Don’t get me started on the food, I went for breakfast and treated myself to the pancakes. Not only is all their food fairly priced, but the taste alone and the local location, makes me all the more excited to go there more regularly. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place 🫶”

“Amazing little café and bistro. Only went today and already can't wait for my next visit. The atmosphere was cosy and homely with a nice country theme. Service was amazing very polite staff who were attentive and made sure the food and drinks were satisfactory. I had the loaded fries which were hot and delicious and the toppings were plentiful. My partner had the Texan Waffles which he loved and said the toppings were generous with these too. I also had a white chocolate mocha which was one of the best coffees I have had and the white chocolate drizzle was heavenly. I am desperate to come back and try more of the menu”

“I had no idea this place existed until I was searching for places to visit, and it’s literally 10 minutes from where I live! It was a beautiful sunny day and I had a fantastic visit to Ranch Bistro where I grabbed a delicious oat milk cappuccino and bacon sandwich on brown bloomer. The views were incredible of Cannock Chase and the riding school, where you can watch folks set off on their horses. It honestly felt like another world and I the food menu was brilliant too! It’s air conditioned so it was really pleasant to sit inside while it was hot but you could also sit on the terrace in the sun if you wanted to. Everyone was very friendly and the service great, and I loved the country music being played! All in all it was fantastic and I would highly recommend a visit!”
