Customer Review Summary

Jungle curry is the dish diners name most, praised as flavourful and fragrant, with one pairing it with pad Thai and prawns. Close behind are the duck salad, spicy noodles with prawn, Singapore noodles and a Panang curry called delicious, and several describe the food as authentic with generous portions. Opinion is not unanimous. One reviewer missed the lime slice, chilli flakes and scallion on the pad Thai, found the curry lacking depth, and saw only carrots and broccoli instead of morning glory, concluding the kitchen caters to the local English palate. A delivery order arrived with chewy satay chicken, weak peanut sauce, soggy oily spring rolls, and overcooked chicken in the massaman and panang. Another table found service very slow while takeaway orders kept the room busy, though the staff were friendly. Some suggest booking ahead for larger groups in the small dining room. Two diners close on the same touch: a basket of crackers brought out while they waited for starters.

“The food is good if you have had limited exposure to Thai food in my opinion... For me, the food wasn't as authentic as I'd hoped and read in the reviews. I was hoping to receive a plate of pad Thai served with a lime slice, dried chilli flakes and scallion - as is the usual practice for authentic servings of pad Thai... It was ok but I've had more authentic, rich flavours elsewhere. The curry seemed to be lacking depth and wasn't so flavourful either. No morning glory, only seasonal veg (carrots, broccoli). Always a sign of who the restaurant is catering toward... Service was good and efficient. It seems to be a family run restaurant so I wish I could have provided a better review. I just don't feel the flavours are as authentic as all the locals say... If you have lived in Asia then set your expectations to a Thai restaurant catering to local English palate which is ok as long as you expect it and don't expect authentic Thai food.”

“Had a wonderful meal here recently. The quality of the food was impressive and really hit the spot. I particularly enjoyed the curry, which was beautifully presented and topped with fresh, fragrant herbs. Everything we ordered arrived hot and tasted delicious. It is the perfect place for a relaxed dinner out.”

“We ordered through Uber eats as it had 4.6 out of 5 on reviews. The delivery came on time which was good. We tried the satay chicken, the chicken was chewy and the peanut sauce was very weak. We went on to try the spring rolls, they were soggy, oily and no flavour. We tried it with the sweet chilli, but that looked like it was watered down and didn't have any taste at all. The massamam taste was weak, chicken was overcooked. The panang, didn't tast like panang and again, the chicken was overcooked. I had high hopes as I've been searching for the best Thai restaurant since visiting Thailand, but the flavours aren't great, no passion or love for the food cooked. I wouldn't recommend it at all.”
