  “Had a lovely experience at Farm Kitchen in Southsea. The atmosphere was really nice, and overall the breakfast was delicious. The only downside for me was the pancakes, which unfortunately were quite dry and tough to eat. Even with the syrup, they were difficult to get through! That said, I still ate them and enjoyed the rest of the breakfast. Overall, a lovely experience and I’d happily come back again.”

  “We had such a lovely experience at Farm Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious, and it was my first time trying lamb ribs — they were fantastic and definitely something I would order again. The pitta bread served as a starter with cream cheese was also so good and the perfect way to begin the meal. The service was excellent as well. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure every little detail was taken care of. We really enjoyed our visit and would happily come back again!”

  “I used an app to scan my plate for calories. The app also helped me find this restaurant. The eggs were high in protein and tasted great, not like diet food. The restaurant was clean and service was quick.”

  “They were very busy, so perhaps I was just unlucky, but it wasn’t great. I ordered the Traditional English Breakfast. I was not asked how I’d like my egg so I assumed it would come fried as most do, it came poached which I don’t like. The rest of the food was just pretty average. The iced mocha was good and the owner seemed very friendly.”

  “I was once lucky enough to have a shakshuka for breakfast at a 2 star Michelin establishment. It was very nice, but my word, the one I have just had here is orders of magnitude better!!! Simple, fantastic quality ingredients cooked authentically and with love and care. On one of the hottest days the UK has ever experienced. Can't wait to come back. Thank you”

  “My son recommended the Farm Kitchen several times but I only went this week when he took me there! From the moment we arrived we were treated to a very friendly welcome and offered several choices of where to sit. We sat down and within a minute or two a waitress arrived with a large container of cool water which was very welcome on a very hot day! After 5 or so minutes we were asked what drinks if any we wanted! We both ordered tea which came in teapots with inserted strainers with loose tea in which made a great change from Teabags and certainly more flavourful! We both ordered the English breakfast with black pudding as an added extra! It came piping hot and everything tasted of quality sourcing and cooking. The black pudding was cooked to perfection something I'm always fussy about! Thoroughly enjoying the occasion we ordered more tea and stayed for another hour after we had finished our breakfast! The overall service was outstanding with all the staff happy to acknowledge us. The pricing is spot on although I would pay more for the food and service provided! Hopefully my son and I will be back next week as we are down that way again! Highly recommended for all ages! Worth it just for the welcome received!”
