Customer Review Summary
The recurring complaint is slow food. Several describe waiting around an hour for mains, with one hearing "another 5 minutes" repeatedly while staff stood idle at the bar, and another waiting about 30 minutes for oysters even though the restaurant was quiet. Others call the food ordinary and pricey, with a limited menu and fries and baguette as the default sides. One returning family found the fish and chips and prawns greasy under thick batter, and their drinks arrived wrong. One reviewer also questions the reservation-only policy when tables looked free. A late-lunch table that waited was offered desserts on the house.

“The seafood shack hosted my hen party and it was amazing 🤩 Couldn’t recommend them enough for hosting a party. All of us had the best night. The staff were so welcoming and professional and couldn’t do enough for us. The buffet food was beyond our expectations, absolutely delicious and all freshly made. Was such a great venue with a great dance floor too. Thank you for hosting us. We had the best time.”

“We waited over an hour for our food, while lots of idle staffs in the bar. We were told several times that our food would be “another 5 minutes,” but it still didn’t arrive. When the food eventually came, it was hot and fine, but definitely not worth such a long wait.”

“The food was great, I had oysters. I would suggest they make this not a reservation only restaurant, as it didn't seem busy when I visited. I tried to come here at a previous time but they refused on account of me not booking, but I didn't see the need to because there was plenty of tables available.”

“Would not recommend… we were there for a late lunch around 3 and the serving speed was unreasonably slow even though the restaurant was not busy at all. We waited for around 30 mins before the oysters are served, and the mains to come after another hour. The staffs did apologise for the slow service and said their food were freshly made so it was worth the wait. Though they offered desserts on the house as a compensation, the food was so-so overall and indeed quite pricey given the quality and time cost.”

“We ordered the fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious and crispy. The best part was that the portions were huge and very generous. We had such a great time there!”
