“Genuinely, the worst Chinese we’ve ever had. Overall, the food was tasteless and dry. The seaweed and prawn crackers were stale, the lamb was fatty (in a ridiculously sweet sauce) and the Tofu was tough and dry. The salt and pepper prawns were like bullets. Absolutely awful won’t be returning here ever again”

“Since Tangs closed in the town, this has been our go-to takeaway, which seems to be the closest in terms of flavour and quality. The dishes are always very consistent, tasty and freshly cooked. The actual building itself is quite tired, but not any more than other local Chinese takeaways!”

“Hugely disappointed. Been coming here a while but won’t again. Long wait (1hr 40) for my order delivered (Saturday night for context, but well outside of the expected delivery times). Prawn balls and rice (regular order) was decent as usual. Spring rolls were fine too. I ordered from this place because they are usually solid and reliable - but unspectacular. Made the mistake of ordering BBQ spare ribs (over £8 quid!) which were really bad. The sauce tasted… weird to both of us. I thought perhaps it was just not to our taste, but the meat was terrible quality. It was gristly and largely fat. After a rib apiece, and a big chunk of fat we left each (see picture), we threw the rest away. I called the takeaway and they offered to remake the dish which I passed on. Will be trying elsewhere. Can still taste the gristle!”

“Experience has been excellent. Have used several times over the past number of months and found the food to be of excellent, consistent quality with the service also being fast and friendly and also excellent value for money. Admittedly I always order directly and collect so cannot comment on the Just Eat service, but would struggle to imagine it being any different. Puts other local outlets to shame on a cost v quality basis. 5 star hygene rating also instills confidence.”
