Customer Review Summary
The complaints are specific and recurring around the donner. One reviewer found the donner kebab pale, plastic looking and awful, another heard a microwave ding after asking for meat fresh off the spit and found it barely hot, and a pizza order was described as mostly naan with finely diced donner and flavourless keema. One reviewer also reports a missing kobeda from a special kebab and was told to drive back for it. Another describes a sore throat and digestion trouble after a curry that tasted sweet, and one reports an insect in a salad.

“The absolute best and has won the best curry in Rochdale award, no wonder people from Bradford come for their food. Their Lamb and Cauliflower is amazing. I've been told I'm a great cook and when I asked how they make the best Chapattis they invited me into their kitchen to show. From Bald John.”

“I asked would the donner be fresh from the rotating spit, then I heard the Ding ! They used a microwave behind a fridge the owner told me it was another rotating spit out of view behind the fridge, the meat was barely hot, the onions weren’t fresh and the sauces had a funny taste ! OMG don’t buy donner there !”

“Visited close to midnight after finding our planned pratha spot was shut. We asked a few takeaways if anyone did prathas and ended up at Punjab. *Service*: Staff were excellent. Very helpful and pleasant, even at that late hour. *Food*: We ordered a stuffed pratha and a mince pratha. The stuffed pratha was okay. The mince pratha used chicken mince, but the filling wasn’t congealed well and wasn’t very appetizing. *Overall*: The service was a highlight, but the food was mixed. An experience we had, but not one we’d likely repeat.”

“I ordered a special keebab which was supposed to include a kobeda. However when I arrived home the kobeda was missing. I rang them and they weren't very apologetic and insisted that if I want the food that they didn't pack I have to go back, a drive of 15 mins. Saying their own driver was too busy. Lousy service and o top of that very mediocre keebabs. The donner keebab was horrific. It was pale and plastic looking and tasted awful. This place has really gone downhill with regards to the quality of food. Stay away as I certainly will be.”
