Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return to the food itself, calling it lovely, hot and well cooked, with the sweet and sour singled out for quantity and quality. Close behind, a chicken curry and fried rice described as tasty and not sticky, plus a pleasant lack of over-salting. One reviewer would like fewer noodles and more prawns in the special chow mein. The chips draw a sharper verdict from another, who compares them to cardboard. Service is where opinion splits. Some find it fast, efficient and friendly, but others report very long waits for pickup and delivery. One says a delivered meal arrived cold, overcooked and hard, and was offered only a half replacement. Another says the phone was put down on them after they reported missing noodles. Several mention that menu prices online are out of date and items cost more than listed. Even so, one new customer was pleased to receive two free bags of prawn crackers.

“The food is really nice and good portions however the chips are awful, like eating cardboard! The customer service could also be better…”

“Ordered food for delivery, delivered within the hour which was good but once opened and plated up it was rotten, cold over cooked and hard. Telephoned and asked for a fresh order to be told only half would be delivered. Told them I wouldn’t touch the food and could return so they could see for themselves but still told no. Only half would be sent out.Definitely won’t be ordering from here again !!!”

“I have ordered from ying can cook many times now and the food is alway gorgeous but tonight I’m really disappointed with the way the service was. My noodles were missing from my order so I rang to let them know, the lady came on the phone and said she packed them with the fried rice I explained that they weren’t there she went off the phone and started speaking to someone else then said it again that she packed them as if I was lying I said it doesn’t matter I’m not going to lie over some noodles and she hung up on me. It’s a shame because the food is gorgeous but has put me off ordering from here again, not good customer service at all”

“Food is very good and always served hot. They need to update menu prices on line to avoid confusion, they are very out of date. You need to add up to £2.00 for each item.”
