  “Very busy place! Great seafood! The best on this side of the Island. Came in at 2:30pm and there was a long wait for a table. Loved the scallops with black pudding and crab cakes. They’re very nice to get us in and served.”

  “What a nice location! During our stay on Isle of Skye we ended up at The Gallery Cafe and Takeaway. We ate delicious Fish and chips. The best during our visit to Scotland! Really recommended! Friendly Staff. Totally excellent! We would love to come back again !”

  “While exploring the Isle of Skye, we happened upon The Galley Cafe, what a delight it was. The food was great quality and in great quantities. The langistines are to die for & they are caught in the bay next to the cafe. The Mussels were excellent as well. The Cakes were delicious, I definitely recommend taking one home for "desert" (definitely not for eating in the car on they way home). The staff were wonderful, making sure our experience was good. I would definitely recommend booking ahead if you are a larger party, there were 7 of us and it is not the biggest dining area.”

  “Phenomenal roadside seafood fare. Great for a snack or a multi-course meal, their shellfish is superb. The mussels and fries were my favorite and the scallops were a close second. Atmosphere was clean and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Top marks!”

  “Food was delicious. We had the crab cakes, fish and chips, chicken and beef burger. Mussels to start which came in a delicious sauce - all eaten before a picture could be taken they were so good!”

  “Dinner was absolutely great. The fish and chips were crispy and cooked perfectly, and the calamari strips were delicious. The crab cakes we got as an appetizer were also very tasty. Be sure to confirm your reservation! Huge shout-out to the crew there for finding us a table after our reservation somehow got lost. I felt for those who came after who had no chance.”

  “A truly memorable stop on our journey through Scotland. We arrived just after 7:30 pm and were gently informed that table service had already finished which gave us the perfect opportunity to experience their takeaway instead. Sometimes the best experiences are the unexpected ones. Enjoying our burgers in the car, while a proper Scottish snowstorm set the scene outside, turned into a surprisingly atmospheric moment. Not your usual dinner setting, but certainly one we won’t forget anytime soon. The staff kept things light-hearted, adding a touch of humor that made the whole situation feel almost part of the experience. And the burgers? Absolutely excellent, full of flavor and clearly made with care. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the area…Perhaps to try the indoor experience as well, if timing (and weather) allow”

  “Fresh scallops severed with black puddings! And I must say the homemade crab cakes are pure joy- they are beyond words. If you see them in the special menu, grab the crab!!!!!”
