Customer Review Summary
Jalfrezi anchors the praise, from a fiery, flavoursome naga version to a mixed jalfrezi made with fresh ingredients. Close behind come the chicken saag, one reviewer's best ever, and a mixed starter whose onion bhaji and garlic naan are called to die for. Reviewers also describe a warm welcome, friendly and efficient service, and a menu that is clear for dietary requirements and allergies. One table of 17 had its food brought out correctly. The main complaint is blandness. Three reviewers call recent food tasteless or bland, and one adds that a takeaway arrived with half-full containers and dry meat, plus a paid-for rice that never came. Another calls the meal overpriced, and a third says no apology was offered. Two of them had enjoyed earlier visits. Reviewers differ on alcohol, with one saying it is no longer served and another noting it is bring your own. One diner was glad to have booked on a Thursday.
