“Stayed in Penrith and after a long day hiking we opted for The Lotus Garden. I have to say this was the best Chinese takeaway I've had in a long time. Service was quick and portion sizes were very good, 3 dishes fed 2 of us easily. Prices were standard for a takeaway service.”

“Was staying at Ullswater Heights holiday park, we ordered food for delivery it was with us just over 1 hour, the food was still piping hot. We ordered the duck with pancakes and crispy beef, egg fried rice, curry sauce and prawn crackers, it was delicious. The lady that took our order was very nice and polite. Would order again next time we're there.”

I’ve to say it was one of the best I ever ate in the last few months from many different Chinese takeaway shops, it was great taste, not salty and blended with the right flavours, big portions and value for money. Highly recommended 😋”

We ordered a starter and six main dishes, which came to around £50 — great value for money. Not only was the food tasty, but the service was excellent too. My husband went to pick up the food (about a 10-minute drive), and he said the owner was very friendly and chatty. Overall, it was a really satisfying dining experience, and we highly recommend it!”
