About The Last Post
In a former post office on County Sq in Paisley, The Last Post is a pub and bar with arched windows and wood railings. The kitchen serves pub grub in a casual setting, and breakfast comes as fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. For a heavier plate, the Manager's Special is an 8oz sirloin steak. A selection of ales is available at the bar, so the menu covers a morning meal, a main course and a pint under one roof. The pub sits next to a transport hub.

Others mention a good pint, a good selection of ales, friendly service and a lovely building, plus a warm, comfy feel. The main complaint is a breakfast that seemed rushed, with hard fried eggs and barely cooked mushrooms, tomatoes and bacon.

“We went here for a good old reliable Spoons breakfast but left a little disappointed as normally wherever you go these are good value breakfast. It was not really busy but the food appeared rushed and both my fried eggs were hard, mushrooms and tomatoes hardly cooked along with the bacon. Not one of the better spoons…”
