Customer Review Summary
Service speed is the main complaint. A few say it was hard to get attention, with staff seeming rushed, and one had to prompt staff to take an order and to bring the bill. One reviewer found the sourdough breakfast average, with an excessively fried component and hard, chewy bread. Several also found lunch dishes pricey for Omagh, though others called portions big and prices reasonable. One notes the parking directly outside is limited to an hour, which can run short at lunchtime.

“If you want a quick bite to eat don't come here service is very slow! If you have a time to wait you should be okay. Parking outside is limited and the parking directly outside is for 1 hour. You may be there over 1 hour around lunch time. Staff were very friendly but it was difficult to get their attention. However, the food was nice and presentation was amazing! The peach iced tea was very good! The food is very pricey £12-16 for a lunch dish was a lot for in Omagh. The atmosphere is good but there is an awakwardness when you need anything as the staff seem rushed off their feet tending to others. They didn't stop.”

“We had a lovely breakfast at The Kitchen. I had the veggie stack and wow! Stack it was! Toast, avocado, mushrooms, egg, halloumi, a bhaji and fried kale with pea shoots and other bits and pieces. I couldn't manage the hash brown. Delicious and a lovely orange juice too. My young friend had a sausage in a muffin and a fancy drink with orange and mint. We both ate well and left happy.”

“Absolutely fantastic! My wife had a Buddha bowl which was packed full of delicious surprises. I had the beef tacos which were genuinely incredible- full of flavour. Although it was very busy when we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, efficient and helpful. Eat here!”

“Arrived to disinterested and unwelcoming staff. Considered walking out but was very hungry so decided to go ahead and order after waiting some time for a table. Staff not keen to take our order so needed to be promoted to attend to us. Got a sourdough breakfast -looked lovely on the plate but very average in terms of flavour. Some components of the meal were excessively fried and inedible. Bread hard and chewy. Very average meal. No one bothered to check in with us. Had to prompt staff for the bill. Overpriced for what it was in all honesty. Think the main selling point of this place is the bougie decor. Wouldn’t be back in a hurry. Unfortunate as was a customer years ago when The Kitchen first opened in the town and although service was still slow then the food made up for it. Can’t say this is still the case.”

“Its the first time me and my friends have been to Omagh. We just went around to find something to eat and luckily we discovered "The Kitchen" which is a gem. We loved the ambience, the food and the service. We can highly recommend their food! They are delicious and very appealing. The cost was also very affordable and they have a big serving as well. We'll definitely be back next time we go to Omagh!❣️”
