Customer Review Summary

Diners single out the loaded fries and pulled pork as standout dishes, with many praising the brisket’s melt-in-your-mouth texture and the Texas Dip Burger. The atmosphere earns frequent mention for its live music, holiday-in-America vibe, and the novelty of a kitchen built from an old school bus. Several also highlight the house-brewed moonshine, particularly the dandelion and burdock flavour. A recurring caveat is inconsistent food temperature, with one platter arriving lukewarm after sitting under a heat lamp, though the manager engaged directly to address the feedback. One reviewer reports a cold, underseasoned mac and cheese with limited vegetarian options available on arrival, though the Texas toast was praised. The sausage receives mixed reactions, described by one as an American-style sausage that didn’t align with expectations.

The only disappointment is that we didn't come here sooner!! The food was epic! Authentic American BBQ. Great selection and decent portion sizes! We all loved it and will be back very very soon!

It was Good Friday, and what food do we have on Good Friday? A bucket load of meat? Check 😁 Wanting to try a few different meats, we opted for the sharer between 2/3 of us. Brisket was very good, melted in your mouth and full of flavour. Pulled pork was also quite good, tender with some decent sauce. Ribs were quite good too. By far the highlight was the loaded fries. The coating on the chicken was phenomenal and the gravy with the cheese combined to make a pretty unforgettable flavour. Oh, and they brew their own moonshine in a couple of different flavours. I tried a tiny bit of the dandelion and burdock flavour which was nice, but really strong and I was driving. Overall, bloody good! Really enjoyed it!

We have been twice and enjoyed it both times. Service is quick and always very polite with a happy smile. The owner/manager has spoken to us about our meal and experience to ensure we were happy. Food is so good. We order 2 share boxes and …

It’s a fun experience that has a kitchen made from an Old School Bus. I went on a Friday evening and there was a live singer that created a nice atmosphere. The food is so good, I really enjoyed the Texas Dip Burger.

We went here for date night and although lots of reviews online rave about the food, we were disappointed. My husband and I had a starter and main each and shared a dessert. As someone who doesn’t eat meat myself, I was really impressed when looking online to have some really good veggie options - when we arrived, they had removed all but two of the veggie options and due to allergies, I could not have either of these. My Mac & Cheese arrived cold and I had to ask for this to be reheated. The Mac & Cheese wasn’t particularly cheesy and needed way more seasoning and stronger cheese in my opinion but the Texas Toast was amazing! My husband said the meat on his Brisket Tray was really good but again, the loaded fries weren’t great. The service we received was faultless and the staff were lovely but the food did let the experience down I’m afraid.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
