About Five Guys Burgers and Fries Norwich Riverside
Five Guys Burgers and Fries Norwich Riverside is an American hamburger restaurant on Wherry Road, a roughly five minute walk from Norwich station. The kitchen uses fresh beef from the British Isles, with patties smashed on the griddle to order and toppings added to taste, including the cheeseburger. Fries come in two styles, regular scooped into a brown paper bag or Cajun, and the menu also includes hot dogs and a Neapolitan shake. Hawkstone beer and cider sit alongside the food, and collection orders can be ready in under five minutes. The shop runs as a walk-in, with dogs welcome inside.

“Got a grilled cheese with jalapeño, grilled onions and grilled mushroom specifically because it was one of the few vegetarian options but the team put bacon inside and I didn’t notice until I’d eaten a few bites of the bacon. The Cajun fries were also so heavily seasoned and limp that they were ridiculously spicy and difficult to eat more than a handful. Such a shame as the server was lovely in dealing with another issue in the order of a friend. Frankly shocking as this could have been pork served to someone with religious reasons for abstaining.”

“Collection for a double cheese burger in under 5 minutes! A very good burger, perfect fat ratio although I wish the patty was more seasoned and had more cheese. I always like to do 2 slices per patty myself. All in all, a perfect standard for a quality burger. I wish more places took note, the 20% fat ratio is essential to a good burger.”

“Went there not by my choice. Overpriced food. Fries not crunchy, bun had a weird taste. Had to add extra ketchup to be able to eat it but still no good for me. McDonald's tastes much better. No thanks. Do not recommend. Absolute waste of money. Pattie was tasty.”
