  “Never go here. I've been going here my entire life, would look forward to it everytime I came home. I am utterly disappointed and am only posting this review publicly because of how awful this experience was. Today I found a hair deep in my cashew chicken and called up the restaurant as I was hoping for a refund for this meal that I couldn't touch. I was met with surprise when the owner who picked up the phone started questioning me on the length of the hair and told me it couldn't be anyone from his kitchen since the hair doesn't match their description. He got quite aggressive and started yelling at me, not allowing me to speak, and telling me that he doesn't believe that I didn't just eat all the food and if I wanted a refund I'd have to bring it back to the restaurant and show him. I was so disappointed. Less about the inedible food and wasting close to £50 on it, but for the way I was treated as a long time customer and just as another human being being berated to on the phone by someone I had given my money to.”

  “I had an extremely disappointing experience here. The staff were shockingly rude from the moment I arrived—dismissive, unhelpful, and openly disrespectful. Simple questions were met with attitude, and it felt like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the place exists. Good food can’t make up for terrible service, and unfortunately this experience was defined entirely by how poorly we were treated. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic courtesy or professionalism.”

  “Went on a Friday evening.The restaurant was full.Quick service-everything got to the table in record time.Good food and good portions. One of the biggest downsides being,it was just too noisy.Phone kept ringing and nobody bothered answering it, waitresses shouting across to each other, customers kept waiting at the entrance. In addition to good food and quick service, there needs to be a lot more attention towards the ambience side of things. Overall a 7 on 10.”

  “Great food with lovely hospitality. The owner clearly takes pride in the restaurant and in maintaining authentic flavours consistently over the past 30 years. The sesame toasted prawns in lettuce wraps, the soups, and the sizzling chicken were all delicious. A well-run, family-oriented establishment with a welcoming atmosphere.”

  “I have been visiting this restaurant for over 4 years, but in the last 8 months the quality of food has gone from bad to worse. This time, I was actually served stale, expired food. When I reported it to the staff, instead of taking responsibility, they dismissed my concern by saying, “the food is always like this.” This response was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I strongly urge everyone to carefully check what they are being served here, as I genuinely believe expired products are being used.”

  “Although the place is in a quite posh area the food was just about average. This is of course not their fault but that has to be mentioned that the restaurant is incredibly noisy, we almost needed to shout to hear each other.”

  “I going to give a 1 star today Am a regular customer Had gone for anniversary lunch with family Found wasp in our noddles They replaced it no apology and didn’t even take it off our bill They should have even replaced the rice as we had dished our food in the bowl’s and saw the wasp in the noddles so had to send the bowls back Can’t believe the it awful customer service”

  “Food was nice! Service was questionable, they were fairly empty but rushing us by coming to check what we wanted to order multiple times even though we said give us time to look, my friend ordered tea which came in a pot and they came over 3/4 times to check if it was finished (which it wasn’t). It seemed rushed for a non busy day. Also making a reservation over the phone - they acted as if it was fully booked to then turn up and see only one table busy. The food however was great!”

  “Delicious food and lots of vegetarian options (though noting that many of the main dishes are mock meat dishes - tofu- something to keep in mind). Enjoyed our meal. Service by our server, Jo, was great; however in general the staff are not super friendly. Decorum is pleasant. Wine menu by the glass is very limited but there are plenty of cocktail options. Dishes are on the pricier side for a local restaurant but portion sizes are pretty generous.”

  “This time I went with a friend and service was better as compared to last time. Food was amazing. Definitely worth it.”
