  “Just gave this place a try and it was actually pretty good. Fish and chips were fine, Chinese dishes were decent too. Nothing to complain about, everything was well cooked. Happy to order again sometime.”

  “Highly recommend their Special Fried Rice! Super generous portions with plenty of chicken and pork. Flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and not overly greasy. Definitely will order again!”

  “Easily one of the best fish and chips in Northampton. The fish was incredibly fresh with a perfectly crispy, golden batter, and the portion size of the chips was massive! The staff are always super friendly and make you feel right at home. So lucky to have this right on our doorstep. Highly recommend!”

  “The owner of this restaurant is very friendly. The fries and fish are very fresh, and the prices are cheaper than what I pay elsewhere. I don't quite understand the previous negative reviews. Maybe this store has some shortcomings, but they are not as severe as what those previous staff members mentioned.”

  “Why do you still not take card payments? That's more than a little odd if you don't mind me saying......Food quality tonight poor. So little actual sauce in the special curry that the rice with it was virtually dry. Like many say you are not cheap so please get it right.”

  “We been here a few times. But never been that great but convenient. We moved to the area in January. After my latest take way I wouldn't be returning. Starter mix platter was extremely salty. Main dishes chicken , beef and especial rice. Was just tasteless. Meat was chewy or slime. Good thing about the new round tapewares. I won't be returning it. For £30-40 each time I expect more . Convenience it's enough.”

  “I'm only rating the chip shop. I stopped going here due to how bad the fish and chips were. I thought I would give it another try....... Big mistake! The fish was so thin they must have a sushi chef out the back slicing it. It was not very fresh either. The batter wasn't bad so they must buy that in. The chips were bad.... Really bad. Soggy no taste except the slightly rancid fat they were half cooked in which obviously wasn't at the right temperature to seal the chips. Possibly cheap potatoes too. £9-50 ( cash only, I Wonder why) thrown into the bin. Do yourselves a favour and do not go there.”

  “I have been going to Chi's for 20 years and have eaten from both sides,the fish & chips as well as Chinese. Their curry sauce is one of the nicest I've ever had. The food portions are always generous,the staff are friendly,and service is always good. They are often happy to tweak orders if needed. I haven't ever had a problem here in any way. The only slight criticism i have is that it's cash only,I appreciate card acceptance services can be pricey but in 2024 being able to pay by card would be beneficial. Overall this is my favourite fish & chip/chinese take away,and I have travelled 6 miles,bypassing several others along the way,in the past to get a take away from here.”
