Customer Review Summary
Cyclists and mountain bikers make up much of the praise, stopping for breakfast and lunch to refuel after a long day out. The southern fried spicy mayo chicken burger is the dish singled out most clearly, described as spot on, and one reviewer calls the brunch spectacular. Close behind, several mention friendly staff, good facilities and a varied breakfast and lunch menu. Burgers also draw the sharpest criticism. One reviewer calls them terrible, and another gave two stars after requests to remove ingredients were ignored, so the burger ended up in the bin, and found the onion rings not great. A couple say the pricing could be a little better, and one cautions against expecting too much from the food. One visitor arrived to find the cafe closed, with staff cleaning and prepping, after reading that the coffee was highly recommended. They noted the huge log burner and said they would return once it was open.

“Given 2 stars as they didn’t listen too our order as we asked for certain things to be removed from our burger, so ended up throwing in the bin. Also the onion rings didn’t taste great.”

“Wasn't open when we visited but has a huge log burner . Menu looked varied and we went on special as I had read the coffee is highly recommended. We were disappointed it wasn't serving. Staff were cleaning and doing prep. We will go back when it's open”
