Customer Review Summary
The Sunday carvery draws most of the praise, with meat reviewers call cooked to perfection, juicy and well-seasoned. Plates come with leeks in cheese sauce and roast potatoes served from behind the counter, while carrots, peas and gravy are self-serve. Diners name chicken, gammon and beef, and one reviewer singles out the nut roast as a tasty option for vegans. Another describes staff asking about allergies on seating and serving gravy in a separate gravy boat. Others call the Indian menu very tasty and praise the well-kept beer, generous portions and value. One reviewer found the interior a bit 80s and dated, and service neither fast nor efficient, running at its own pace, though another called it super quick. One group says the next table asked what they had ordered because it smelt divine, then ordered the same.

“We met family here for Sunday carvery. The inside is a bit 80s and dated but still pleasant. Popular with the older crowd. There were quite a few waitresses but we still didn't feel like service was fast or efficient. It runs at its own pace. We were told when to go for the carvery. I had chicken and husband has gammon and beef. You are served from behind the counter with your meat and special veg like leeks in cheese sauce and the roast potatoes. For general veg like carrots and peas you can help yourself. The things I did like were that the veg was cooked through! Hooray! Also, you get to serve yourself gravy! So if you prefer less or more you can customise it. £12.95 per adult. They do a child's portion too so all round a decent Sunday lunch.”

“Visited the Harboro with a couple of friends who aren't from Melton. They couldn't stop taliking about the food quality and quantity. Even the people on the next table came over to enquire what we'd ordered as they said it smelt divine amd they ended up ordering the food too. Totally value for money.”
