  “Very disappointed After being recommended by my son. I treated my mum to lunch. After waiting for at least 25 minutes and having to ask how long would our meal be, our food arrived. Only ordered a toasted sandwich and Shakshouka, and 2 flat whites (which did come pretty quickly) The poached eggs were hard and it looked like they had been sitting for a while. In hindsight I probably should have said something at the time. I paid just over £27 which was definitely not value for money. I’ve heard such nice things about this establishment, so you can imagine my disappointment.”

  “Absolutely delicious brunch. We had bubble and squeak with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and chorizo. It was amazing. My coeliac niece was very impressed with the variety of foods available and there was clearly a lot of care taken. We were too full for cake as well so a couple of pieces of the gluten free cherry Bakewell cake had to come home with us 😃”

  “Great place to grab a breakfast. They serve delicious, well-seasoned and top quality food. Also, you can get a really good cafe latte and iced coffee here. I ordered Breakfast Omelette, which was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly with inside being little runny - perfect consistency! My partner had the Shakshuka Eggs, tasted very fresh with 2 poached eggs cooked very well and a sprinkle of feta cheese - very tasty! Very friendly staff, fantasctic service and good value for money on the food. I will definitely come here again to try out a lunch menu. Highly recommended!!!”

  “This is a really nice cafe/bar. Fresh and flavoursome food. Great friendly service. Also there are different seating areas, near the fire on a couch, at a table, a quieter area at the back and even a children's play area. Dog friendly also which is a huge bonus.”

  “This place has been a favourite spot for my family for a couple of years now. Amazing food and such friendly staff that we have now made it a weekly tradition to come in with our kids. I would 100% recommend kitchen & coffee. They are also great with my wife's celiac disease.”

  “Popped in for lunch on the recommendation of a friend, and she was spot on. It's a lovely place, with a broad menu of really tasty sounding food. I was particularly impressed that the breakfast menu is available until 5 pm, very civilised. I did decide to forgoe the breakfast selection although was tempted by the steak and eggs. I went however for the steak and Stilton Ciabatta with Fat chips. It was beautiful, the steak came beautifully pink in the middle just as I'd ordered and it was on a bed of lovely sweet onion chutney, and topped with gloriously melted stilton, and absolute delight. As for the fat chips, they really weren't kidding, they were akin to a roast potato, crispy on the outside, and fluffy in the middle, a triple cooked chips done well. The cakes looked amazing, but I just didn't have the room”

  “Ordered “the works breakfast” - did not disappoint. I’d say it’s the best full English I’ve ever had. Was definitely worth the money. Staff were friendly. We came on a Friday at 11:30am and it wasn’t too busy that it was rammed, but busy enough so that there was a nice atmosphere. Nicely furnished. All around great experience. Will visit again when next in the area.”

  “My sister and I visited this place for some food and the walkway into the place was ramped and not stepped, which made it so much easier for my sister as she is a wheelchair user. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff faces and one staff member stated that she would clear a table immediately for us as it was close to the door and accessible for my sister. The place was quite busy and the music was upbeat and new that was playing. My sister had a coffee and I had the apple and elderflower gin fizz…definitely recommend! My sister then had pancakes and I had BLT however the photo attached does not do it justice. Flavours were lovely and although we waited around 25 minutes for food, I was made aware of this when ordering so my expectations had been managed well by the team there. Would 100% recommend and I would love to return to this cute cafe!!!”

  “A good selection of food and drinks is available, and there are plenty of seats. However, it does get busy at times. Service is always good and food is to a good quality, it's not the cheapest, if you're looking for cheap pop in To weather's pools down the road. The foods always cooked well and presented well too.”
