  “I don't like to share negative reviews but feel I must in this instance. I went to the restaurant for the first time in years and took a party of 11. The starters were at best bland, and in some instances well overcooked. This didn't bode well, however encouragingly the mains were generally better. Of the party half enjoyed their main meal, the other half really didn't like the taste of what they had. However the real disappointment was yet to come. When the bill arrived none of the prices in the menu were even remotely close to what we were being charged. Every item had been hiked up, in some cases by as much as £2 per item, but always at least by a £1. This made already expensive dishes and drinks even more expensive. When I questioned this, I was shown a menu...not one any of our party had seen, where an ineligible hand written note in the back of it said prices had increased since January 2026. Clearly this restaurant is struggling financially, and that's why I don't like giving it a bad review, however when I bring a party of 11 prospective new customers to the restaurant, the wise course would have been to leave us wanting to come back.....not vowing never to go back. Disappointing.”

  “On a drive by coming back from Wem to home. I love finding market town restaurants and this one is excellent. Two chapattis, garlic chilli chicken and mushroom rice. Magic, just what I wanted asked for it to be a little bit more spicy, madras hot. Just delicious, friendly welcome and we enjoyed a great chat with the manager. I had mongoose lager and wife had the cobra. Places to park just around the corner. Overall, great experience, good service and food came out promptly. Reasonable prices too. Little Jaipur is a fab find, at the home of the gingerbread man.”

  “A last minute visit on a Saturday, surprised we could get a table during a busy Saturday night. Food was superb, served pretty fast and friendly service. A place with lots of choice. Would recommend”

  “I ordered a vegetarian Thali takeaway tonight. It was so tasty. 7 containers of lovely dishes Inc rice. Plus Salad, popudom and sauces. And a nan bread. Cooked by the Owner due to lockdown & best one out of 15 I've had. Many thanks. Robin”

  “I always use to go to Jaipur but had not been for a long time...went last weekend and the food and service was brilliant. It was the nicest curry I have had in a long time. I will definitely be going back and will recommend it to others. Thanks for a lovely evening.”
