Customer Review Summary

Praise centers on the food, with the red mullet fish curry called outstanding and the green chilli chicken singled out by another diner. One regular orders a takeaway every few weeks as a treat. Delivery draws most complaints: several describe orders arriving very late or never, unanswered phone calls, and one says the app marked food delivered while it was still being cooked.

“Just been to Simla. Prices increased by 33%, with rice no longer included (so more like a 50% price increase?), a new pricing structure apparently. No menu available for me to check these new prices. I was offered a discount for cash but this was only a few pennies. When I complained about the lack of rice I was told that it doesn't normally come with rice, I said it has for the last few years. He went back to the kitchen and said that the chef doesn't do it with the meal but has said he will do some for me. When we've eaten it it's dry, probably leftover from yesterday. As I was walking out he muttered something under his breath in Bengali, nothing complimentary I guess. Not impressed. Won't be going back until I've spoken with the owner.”
