  “Just back home. Ignored at the front door. Really average food at best and an ongoing arguement in the open kitchen with something thrown made for a really poor experience. A place to avoid.”

  “Just had a lovely take away. Service was very quick ,ordered and collected withing 30 minutes. Food was tasty and plenty. Would highly recommend”

  “We came here about 5 months ago and our meal was just about ok. But we came here tonight and had a full on meal with friends and the food has greatly improved since our first visit. Well done Lotus you did yourself very proud! 😋”

  “The worst Indian food my partner and I have ever had. Same cooked tandoori chicken cubes were used in both the Butter Chicken and the Tawa Chef Special. It tasted like the chicken had been sitting around for some time, and unfortunately, my partner became ill with food poisoning after the meal. Be very careful with the way they charge for items on the menu, too. We ordered papadums, assuming the portion would include more than one, but they brought four and charged us for four individual papadums. The same happened with the sauces, which were charged separately per portion. The cutlery was greasy. We certainly won’t be returning.”

  “Mate they tried serving me up raw chicken on a tandori chicken starter thing was burnt kn outside. That was after they had the cheek to bring the poxy poppadums out stale.”

  “I had a meal at Lotus Indian Restaurant with my partner and his parents last night and we were all really impressed with the quality of the food and selection of dishes. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and we were allowed to bring our small dog. We will definitely be back!”

  “Tried this restaurant for the first time with friends during folk week. Staff very friendly and listened to our special requests. We all thought the food was outstanding and served quickly. Our friends were impressed and as we are locals we hope the quality of food stays the same as we will definitely come back!”

  “Food was exceptional.... but... I have given ot four stars as, we were in there ages before an Indian couple and a child walked in.. then they were served ALL their foods before us ... another guy complained about the wait ... But we then we were given just 2 of our 4 dishes...two wet bhuni, no rice and again a massive pause before our biryani appeared.. they could see we were looking over at this couples table as they nearly got our meals also... a real helpful young lad was so apologetic....then my naan came almost after all our food was eaten... so was taken home to the dog ...”
