  “So i was told about the fantastic reputation that Jimmy's killer prawns has locally so i was in town for a few beers 🍻 and I ended up on Ancoats so headed to Jimmy's for a few beers. Fantastic selection of Alcoholic and non Alcoholic drinks, They also serve food, Polite and friendly staff, Loved the Interior, Cold crisp pint, Great service and i definitely see why Jimmy's has such a fantastic reputation. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 55,000,000+ views on Google alone.   “Omg I loved everything I ate here. I had the seafood boil for 1 which was around £35 (see pic). Full of flavour! Mushroom starter was mmmm as well served with bread (see other pic) and the sweet potato fries. Crunchyyyy. My friend had chicken from the grill and that looked good too with the same mushroom sauce except the cheese. I can't fault anything except I had to ask for the tools for my crab (although most of it was easy to crack with my hands) and spoons. Plus being there were gloves, wipes, aprons and tissues provided. I would definitely come here again. First server who took our order was very attentive, asking if we're ready to order (sorry couldn't decide. Many menu options looked good!) and repeated it back to us, asked about allergies etc. My bucket of shells was replaced without me asking. Getting the bill was a bit harder but it was fine.”

  “At first, we doubted to dine here, but we went in anyways, the atmosphere is not the greatest but the food is amazing, the young lady Fafa, was amazing and explained everything in details, she was very kind and respectful. We tried fish and chips and loaded chips with chicken tenders and passion fruit mojito, absolutely delicious.”

  “The food was genuinely delicious！We ordered 60 prawns for two people and a plate of mussels(the creamy butter sauce was really good), and everything tasted great. Unfortunately, the service could be improved. It took quite a while to get a staff member’s attention, and we were overlooked several times when trying to ask for assistance. We also found a curly beard hair in one of the dishes after finishing our meal. It was clearly not ours, as both of us have long hair. Amazing food, but the service and attention to food hygiene need improvement.”

  “My husband and i visited this restaurant twice. The first time was good. Our recent visit was not so good. We were placed at a table where the lighting was so poor we could hardly read the menu. We requested a change of table and the attitude of the young man was as if we were a bother. Luckily, the young lady who took our order was really good at her job and she made us felt welcomed and appreciated. Plus we enjoyed the food. Jimmy's Killer Prawn has been one of our favourite restaurants from Bahrain. When we returned home (UK), we visited the restaurants in Leicester and Manchester. While we are excited to visit the newer locations (Nottingham and Birmingham), we are not so keen to revisit the Manchester branch.”

  “Enjoyed the Thursday special of a mountain of prawns , 60 prawns which came with rice & chips and three dips! Followed by a lotus cheesecake with caramel sauce. Was very nice , couldn’t eat all of the prawns though! The cheesecake was a little frozen but still tasty. Kyra was lovely with great suggestions, polite and friendly. Very professional as well . 0% alcohol drinks on offer as well.”

  “Absolutely loved my experience. The food was well presented and delicious! We ordered the seafood boil and Jimmy's boil the wait wasn't long and the molten lava cake was soft and melt in your mouth with the icecream. The waiter was really nice and friendly. We would come again. Thank you!”

  “I was scared to use the toilets due to the crowd and yes they could do better. I always judge a kitchen by the neatness of the toilets. If you can’t keep the toilets clean, then you can’t keep your kitchen clean either. The food tasted really good though but the view of the toilet threw me off.”

  “Really rude customer service from this branch and especially the manager Saroob who actually challenged me to post a review. We were seated on a table where we barely had space to breath and a toddler who needed to be fed no space on the table itself too. If you charging such prices atleast ensure your customers are sat properly. We have never had such issues at the Leicester branch. See the image attached they expecting a fully grown adult in this space?”
