  “I have tried them all of the takeaways in Maidenhead each have slightly different tastes, portion sizes and prices. The Lobster pot is up there with the best and has been in the same family since the 80s.”

  “Ordered Chinese takeaway, hot and sour soup was tasteless, not hot or sour at all. Other 2 dishes were ok however not very tasty. Will probably not order here again. Fast service though.”

  “Used twice now, once as a work lunch order for 5. Different dishes and not a moan anywhere. I then had a lunch order on it's own. Excellent service, very nice and tasty food and the lady behind the counter so polite. All the above was from their lunchtime Chinese menu so can't comment on the fish, but the chips were lovely. Definitely one to go back to.”

  “Has become my local chippy. Consistently good food. The chip shop options are my choice of option although the chinese food itself is also good. The staff are friendly and hard working and the place is always busy. The prices are also very reasonable particularly on the chip shop options. The only critique I can think of is there is sometimes a discrepancy on the portion sizes on the chips. Occasionally a small chips can be an ample portion and other times it seems less. If you offset this by ordering a Large portion sometimes the portion is massive. It makes it a little difficult to anticipate. Overall a great place and well recommended.”

  “Always My favourite place to go for fish and chips-very tasty and reasonable price in comparison to others and a lovely pleasant friendly family business. Parking can be bit tricky if it’s busy but doesn’t bother to park up the road a little bit , as well worth the walk and wait for sure 👍”

  “Ordered fish and chips. Fish was flavourful and tasty. The chips was dipped with vinegar and salt but lacked flavour after. Shame on this experience would've saved my money and gone elsewhere. Should be 3 star rating. Chips were bad.”
