“I was going to give it 2 stars but the brown runny water out my rear at 3am dropped the score. Ordered last night a Singapore chow main after my usual restaurants (top wok or taste of china) were both closed, so gave it a try. On entering apart from 1 group of half a dozen Chinese students signing karaoke (Not Eating) it was empty, looked like a bit of a dive, would never eat there but I'd say that about most takeaways. Food took about 20 mins for home and tucked in, and it tasted powdery, there was no chillies/onions/peppers, just noodles some strips of chicken and I saw 1 reasonable sized prawn (however I have half a tub left, which will now go in the bin). It tasted like they just chucked in powdered flavouring, chicken strips out the freezer at least one prawn, but I was hungry so ate half the tub which was a reasonable size. I'd expect Singapore chow main to have a slight sticky texture, like a bit of curry sauce and cooking it down and a splash of soy, but there was none. After the squits at 3am, I can only give it one star, avoid at all costs.”

“Think this is a no brainer for my fellow Chinese (international) students who long for a taste of home, or anyone craving some delicious and fairly affordable Chinese food. Everything cooked fresh, loads of ‘wok hei’, and really generous portion sizes. They never miss with their salt & pepper chicken bites, fried rice/ noodles and prawn toast. Restaurant is fairly small but can accommodate 20+ people, worth booking if you have a big group. Staff are very nice and friendly. Free prawn crackers and fortune cookies for large groups”
