  “Just had a delivery that arrived far too quickly. Tastes 3 days old and found random burnt chips in food which i didnt order. Rest of food really bland and not fresh... Waste of money as didnt eat Way over priced to just put straight in bin. Not even good enough for my dog. If i could add a photo i would”

  “The blandest most tasteless overpriced Chinese food I've ever eaten. Barely 5 cashew nuts in the "cashew nuts with vegetables" and they're not even cooked, just thrown in. £6 for chips tossed in chilli salt, not even fried with the onions and peppers. Never ordering from here again.”

  “We ordered our meal through just eat. This is one of the nicest Chinese takeaway meals we have had. We stopped ordering from our local restaurants as the food was horrible. We have had two meals since finding this gem and the food was gorgeous. Another 4th meal. 80p away from free prawn crackers. 10p charge for a small bin liner. Lot of the onions were unchewable. Thought we'd find our forever takeaway.”

  “Rang to say the CHIPS were extremely over cooked and not edible..she replied..the chips are fresh ..yes..BEFORE you fry them and warm them up..the English dinners are not satisfacotry..small..e.g the chicken breast and omelette. The lady said to get refund we need to ring just eat..just eat don't want to know..the lady said we can bring 2 more portions of chips out..we declined because the food we had would have been cold. You cant reheat chicken. We were furious because I was nill by mouth for many hours due to medical procedure..we will NEVER try this place again..I looked at reviews and now know deffo will not be back! If you can't fry chips you need a better chef!..”

  “Ordered sweet and sour king prawn cantonese style. All sloppy & soggy, not crispy like it should be... When I picked the food up, all the meat and prawns were left out on the side uncovered (clearly they use these in all dishes). Won't be ordering from here again, which is a shame as they used to be great. Deffo gone downhill... Chef also shouts alot & is abusive to the woman taking my order. Such a shame.”

  “You pay what you get, except particularly here the speed of service is exceptionally quick. If you have delivery issues then it's likely to be with the delivery courier. I've had no issues collecting in person, food is crispy and fresh from kitchen. I've always been ordering directly in person from this takeaway as it seems you get a good bang out of your buck here, as opposed to having to order online, paying excess surcharges that delivery companies like Uber and deliveroo charge and steal away from smaller shops like these.”

  “I walked in and ordered: * Deep fried squid with salt and pepper 椒鹽鮮魷 * Sweet and sour pork 咕嚕肉 Once the food is ready (which is so quick like 5 mins) I rush home to open the squid to let the steam out so as to keep it crispy. Pork is still crunchy even when it’s covered in sauce. Both are nice. Just that the squid is not salty enough but it’s healthier this way. Any way still tastes like genuine Cantonese food.”

  “This was the second time we'd ordered from here. First time food was excellent! But this time, our two Pork chow meins had no pork. Prawn toast had a funny (brown sauce taste to it) And the chicken balls were loaded with grease. We shall not be ordering from here again! 🤮”

  “Had from here before and was ok, until yesterdays order. I rang to complain about the uncooked and poor food. I was told I'd get a refund through just eat. This has not and most likely will not happen as the takeaway place have not marked the order as 'complete' (20 hours later) so it can not be finalized. I try and ring them and they avoid my calls as they have number recognition. As agreed i will not order from here again, but due to the pure ignorance of the staff at lucky house to this, i feel necessary to leave this review.”
