  “Took my fiance for his birthday surprise lunch. It was first class as always. The staff were all very friendly, there is one woman in particular with brown hair who is always smiling but unfortunately I don't know her name! She gives the same great service every time & gives plenty of great advice on choices! We shared a flat bread for starters, pizza & fries while we sat in, everything was fantastic. On leaving we had a Frappe, lemon sorbet & a Walnut/caramel tart to take out. The frappe is one of the best I have had (coffee with a pump for vanilla & caramel) & the lemon sorbet is out of this world!”

  “Had the sweetest waiter! Giant pizzas, took home half of my No. 8 and got a delicious vanilla bean gelato to go. I hear their cinnamon buns are legendary but sell out in 30 min each morning. Suggest going in early evening for better chance at getting a table. Had no problem at around 4:15.”

  “We ate here today (after many previous attempts) - it is a popular spot, and with great reason. I was expecting it to be brilliant and had expected great things from the food but it really was outstanding and deserves every bit of praise it gets. Not only was the food outstanding but the service was just exceptional. We ate with our two young children, which oftens feels like an inconvenience to most restaurants but in Scarpello & Co they were welcomed with open arms. The type of service they offer in here is really quite special. From the colouring pages / crayons offered from the second we arrived and flexible menu offerings to authentic warmth and genuine engagement with our kids! Other places should really take note - it would make families come more often! 11/10, if I could give 6* I would! We will be back and recommending to everyone!!”

  “Service is brilliant, very attentive and the food itself is delicious. You can taste the quality of ingredients and the care that the team put into making each dish. Coffee is also brilliant, as is everything in the bakery. I highly recommend!”

  “Such a unique place in Derry! The pizzas are unreal! The service was perfect and the atmosphere was incredible. On top of that their cafe part is amazing, plenty of tasty buns and coffee! 10/10”

  “I was surprised to find vegan cheese on the options, I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese and mushrooms, my partner ordered a regular sandwich (non vegan) wich he said was delicious!. Scarpello also offer the menu option with soup, offer drinks and ice cream as well. The place was quite bussy but the service was good and fast!.”

  “I seriously couldn't fault them with anything, the food was so delicious, my family of three shared the House Salad and Margarita Pizza along with a few small bits. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant. The server was so incredibly nice and the atmosphere was lovely.”
