About Jack's Bar
On Little James St in Londonderry, Jack's Bar is a pub open daily. Sunday lunch centres on roast beef, and the kitchen also serves a "50/50" dish of beef and bird alongside it. Lunch is served at the pub, and groups come in for food. Guinness is poured on draught by the pint, and the bartenders answer questions and help guests with local information. The pub sits just up from William Street car park.

Customer Review Summary
Food draws the most praise here, led by the roast beef, which one diner calls outstanding, and the 50/50 of beef and bird, described as really well cooked and presented. Another reviewer credits the chef with a medium rare steak done properly, and a Sunday lunch and a good pint of Guinness also get mentions. Reviewers describe a happy atmosphere with lots of laughter, a cozy, typically Irish feel, and lovely, friendly staff, and a few point to good value. Visiting Americans say everyone welcomed them with open arms, and one visitor had lunch there almost every day during two weeks in Derry. The criticism comes from two three-star reviews. One finds the restaurant side not that good despite nice food and service, and notes the food was slow to arrive. The other felt weird vibes, though they liked the music and the bartender. One drinks-only visitor says the bartender answered questions about the demolitions and renovations around the area.
