About Sixes Party Cricket, London Bridge

Sixes Party Cricket, London Bridge is a sports bar on Bermondsey St in London built around batting cage simulators. Virtual bowlers launch real soft balls in timed 30-minute sessions, and the bowler level can be changed so players of different abilities can share a fair game. Staff start the timer and explain the game at the beginning of each session. Sessions are booked by time slot, and groups can wait for the previous group to finish in the nets. Seating is available while waiting or after the game. The food menu includes a smash burger, and drinks are ordered at the bar or brought to the table once you have taken a seat. Several screens show sport, with live matches such as the IPL screened on request, and music plays loudly. The venue hosts group and business events, and dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary

Service is the recurring complaint, and it splits the reviews. Several describe long waits for drinks, one bar worker handling a busy bar, a server who never returned to take payment, and staff who seemed bored or annoyed. One group said technical issues with no balls arriving in the cage cut their paid session short. Others criticise an average burger, loud music that made conversation hard, and a service charge on drinks. Still, a few praise staff who handled a 150-person event and a bartender who made the visit, with one party saying they would return for that reason.

“Have been to Sixes several times before but not this venue. This time with 2 kids on a Thursday evening. At all previous venues there has been someone to greet and tell you where to go/ wait while you get a drink. This was just a free for all with frankly not enough staff or certainly not enough staff who wanted to do anything or help. Waited at bar to speak to someone/ get a drink for 15 minutes, only one person working the busy bar. Found another member of staff who told us to wait near the bar. Then changed and said take a seat and she would bring drinks over. Took her a full 15 minutes to come over. Didn’t offer to take an order. Took us to the net for the cricket. The kids and adults enjoyed this as always. Great fun. Ordered some drinks, no lemonade… Girl never returned (even when the time was up on the net/ games) to take payment for the drinks… we had to go find her before leaving. Overall, cricket aspect great fun. Service dire.”

“Went for a group event. Nets were great and it was good fun to be able to change the level of the bowlers to enable a fair game. Didn't have food, but found it slightly bizarre that drinks all had a service charge”

“I visited Sixes London Bridge last night and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We arrived for our 5:45pm booking and were told that the previous group were still using the batting nets, meaning we had to wait before we could start. While I appreciate that delays can happen, we did not actually begin until around 6:00pm. On top of this, our 30-minute session was reduced by an explanation of the game from the hostess as she started the timer and then began explaining the game, she appeared uninterested and was yawning throughout. As well as this, technical issues with the system failing to provide any balls for us to use in our cage meant that the session we paid for ended up being closer to 23–24 minutes of actual play time. The service throughout the evening was equally disappointing. When ordering drinks, we were told to take a seat and that they would be brought over. After waiting more than five minutes with no sign of them, I went to the bar to check on the order, only then were the drinks brought out. Overall, the atmosphere felt poor, the service was slow, and several staff members came across as rude and inattentive. Combined with the technical issues that significantly reduced our playing time, it made for a frustrating experience and poor value for money.”

“Ram was amazing, he made sure we had a great time. The place is amazing and playing cricket was a fun way to spend my weekend. They also screened the IPL game on request. All in all 10/10”
