Customer Review Summary
Reviewers consistently praise the sushi, with multiple diners highlighting the hot mama and dragon rolls, and several noting that the sushi looks and tastes really good. Close behind, the katsu curry and fried beef dumplings come up repeatedly as standout dishes, and one diner singles out the spicy edamame and Korean fried chicken. Portions are described as generous, and the staff are frequently called polite, welcoming, and accommodating, with one reviewer noting they handled a gluten-free requirement well and another describing them as incredibly accommodating even near closing time. A few reviewers raise concerns: one calls the restaurant a big deception, saying it is not a real Japanese restaurant and that the menu lacks basic details like whether Asahi beer is bottled or on tap; another finds the chicken noodle soup flat and underseasoned, with the chicken needing salt and depth; and a couple of diners feel the prices run a bit high for what is served. One reviewer suggests booking ahead or opting for takeaway if tables are full.

“Nice place, unranked a bit low based on taste, and to be fair I had only two dishes - prawn Tampura and Chiken noodle soup. The prawn seemed to be fresh, but the Tampura texture disappointed, the chicken soup was not a good dish, the broth was flat in taste needed salt and depth, the chicken was underseasones and was meaningless. Positives: nice size portions, sushi looks really good, good and fast service. Overall thisnpn asian hasn't decided what it wants to be Japanese or Korean, you can't be both without amazing food”
