“Red Peas Soup.. was full of scotch bonnet pepper. Tastless. The thyme was too much, spinners were sloppy.. Rice and peas with oxtail..medium portion.. a few pieces of meat and a container full of rice. Oh my, I just wasted my money.”

“I visited this Caribbean shop and was bitterly disappointed. The rice and peas that I ordered looked dark and old. It looked so bad that I couldn’t leave the shop with the food and asked for a full refund. I was then asked why and I explained quietly that the food was of an unsatisfactory standard and quality. I also mentioned that the assistant rubbed her nose with her hand before serving me my coleslaw, which was just totally off putting and unhygienic to say the least! The man was so rude and threw a £10 note at me even though I paid with my card! Disgusting behaviour and a disgusting meal to serve. I’m really shocked that they have been given a 5 hygiene standard rating when the shop I visited was filthy. Never again smh”
