“Used to rate them highly but it’s really gone downhill. I’ve read other reviews about the owner apparently passing away sadly and I think the change in quality is really noticeable from the last time I visited a few years ago. I couldn’t help but feel that the meat just tasted grilled and smokey but not seasoned. I went for the pork and chicken - both really dry. The pork was really hard and tough too. They charge extra for gravy, which is strange considering sauce should come as standard, especially when their meat is quite dry. The bbq sauce comes in sachets, which is a real shame. They also don’t sell any drinks whatsoever - not even water. The dry food needs it. I don’t like to leave negative reviews for black-owned business but this place honestly used to be one of my highest rated jerk spots in South London. I probably won’t be coming back unfortunately.”
