  “I celebrated my birthday at Base Face Pizza after discovering their cosy private room, and it was absolutely perfect! Klaudia and her team couldn't have been more accommodating. They let me decorate the space, offered corkage, organised a pre-order, and made everything run so smoothly on the day. All of my friends commented on how kind, welcoming, and attentive the team was, and everyone loved the pizza. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate, thank you for making it such a special day! I will most definitely be back for a slice.”

  “This is by far one of the best pizza places in Putney! My friends and I come here regularly, and the food is consistently outstanding—fresh, delicious, and full of flavour every single time. What really sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. Kai and Tiyana are always incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They greet everyone with a smile, make you feel at home, and always go the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience. It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food with such consistently excellent service. I can’t recommend it highly enough—if you’re on Upper Richmond Road and looking for fantastic pizza, this is the place to visit!”

  “The place seems clean and looks ok but there was a lot of grease or oil on the pizza. I'm not sure if the chef adds oil when the pizza is cooked or the ingredients are fatty. Either way the pizza is just dripping in oil. Prefer if they have oil bottles on the table so customers can add oil if they want it, rather than add loads automatically.”

  “Base Face Pizza is easily my new go-to pizza place in Putney. The starters were outstanding — especially the prawns in chilli oil, the bread, and the flatbread with mozzarella. Everything was full of flavour and beautifully done. The pizzas themselves were excellent as well: fresh, balanced, and clearly made with care. I used to be a big fan of Santa Maria, but in recent times it has felt a bit lacklustre. Base Face has completely taken that spot for me now — both for sitting in and for takeaway. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Just a genuinely lovely place all around. Highly recommended.”

  “OMG this pizza is insanely good! I lived I italy for many years so am very fussy about what constitutes a real good pizza and this surpasses all expectations! If this pizza were served in Naples, no one would argue. 10/10, would abandon all self-control again - yes I also indulged in their 2 for 1 cocktail offer and the Negroni’s really hit the spot too!”

  “Top tier, quality pizza! Been wanting to try Base Face for a while, and took the opportunity when meeting a friend for dinner in Putney! The pizza’s are simply excellent, delicious dough, a great tomato sauce and superb toppings. The Picante cocktail is also one of the best spicy drinks I’ve enjoyed! We came on an evening with live blues music, it was a great atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, and the music. The service is excellent too!”

  “I can only recommend going there – it’s absolutely worth it! We even went back several times because we enjoyed it so much. The food is very very good. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, especially Claudia. She was unbelievably sweet, took the time to chat with us and even shared great tips on places to visit in London. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever experienced such warm and personal service anywhere else. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also wonderful. We felt truly comfortable and at home every single time we visited.”

  “Great pizza in Putney, been a couple times and just love it! Today had the truffle shuffle which was fantastic, a very creative pizza taste! With a glass of the Nero d’Avola, a perfect combination! My hubby had a parmigiana pizza They call the dough a ”slow dough” and it’s a winner! Highly recommend🤩⭐️💯”
