Quick info
About The Oracle
The Oracle is a speakeasy cocktail bar at 83 Seel St in Liverpool, where close-up magicians perform at the tables, so the drinks and the show come together at your seat. Several magicians perform, and each does something different. Table service brings the cocktails, including a rhubarb cocktail and a pina colada. Tables cannot be booked in advance. Away from the bar, The Oracle also hires out magicians for weddings, parties and corporate events across the UK.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come for the close-up magicians performing at the table, and nearly every review centres on them, describing acts that left guests blown away, mesmerised and confused at the same time. Several say it feels like drinks and a show in one. The cocktails sit close behind, with a rhubarb cocktail and a Pina Colada singled out as favourites, and others calling the drinks delicious and made with care. Table service and friendly staff get repeated mention, along with a dark, mysterious and relaxing atmosphere. A few reviewers mention a first date or a birthday as the reason for their visit. The one recurring trade-off is access: one reviewer calls it a difficult place to get into but totally worth the wait, and another notes that booking in advance is not possible. Reviewers also keep their descriptions of the acts vague on purpose, avoiding spoilers, and several say they are already planning a return visit with a partner or a larger group.

“What a secret little gem this is! If you're looking for something magical... The kind of magic that you think about for weeks after, this is the place. The table service and drinks are brilliant, the atmosphere and the magicians are fantastic as well. You can't book in advance which is fine, I like that. I would add photos and say more, but I don't want to take away your first impressions.”
