  “Salt and pepper chips/ribs/ chicken really nice. Really love a curry but don’t particularly like the curry sauce from here but their crispy chilli chicken/ beef is great and fresh never dry. Also their fried rice dishes are really nice and plentiful. Chips always nice here. Really great chippy and friendly staff, marking down as my personal preference on the curry sauce 🙂”

  “The chips were terrible and definately looked and tasted like warm ups. The majority of them were very dark and also full of bad bits and ended up in the bin. Mushy peas requested were just ordinary peas and not at all mushy. The fried rice didn't look fried as there were large clumps of white rice in it. Had high hopes for this chippy but never again”

  “I've changed from a solid 5 two years ago to a 1 but it's gone so downhill The last few times (maybe 5) the foods been very subpar, salty and the staff are absolutely useless, it's beyond me how many people have stayed loyal, make sure you check the bags as we always have items missing or wrong. Won't be returning, we've been going the friendly house in hunts cross much better!”

  “Ordered spicy chinese noodles from here . It was so salty couldnt even take two bites. May be before packing or serving g why dont they taste a bit to see how awful it is”

  “Chicken chow mein, swimming in gravy, pasteurised Chicken, no bean sprouts just noodles. Greasy. Not nice at all. Could of done better myself and I am no cook.”

  “After reading reviews here we almost did not go! However, decided to take a chance and try for ourselves. Glad we did as everything was fine. Tried a special fried rice, fish, chips and few other bits. Food was spot on and service was good. I thought prices was reasonable too.”

  “You know a takeaway is gonna be good when it’s always packed. Best takeaway in the area by far. I will never order a Chinese on just eat or Uber eats ever again thanks to this place. Highly recommend!!!”

  “Just bought fish and chips which was the worst I have ever had. Warmed up chips that tasted of pure grease a fish that was supposedly cod .The batter fell apart due to being soaked in fat. Cost nearly £9 . Never again call into this chippy”

  “Chinese food very good. Tasty and good portions. Fish not very good, batter too thick and as a result not solid right through. Chips excellent, not greasy at all. Tends to be busy but plenty of staff and they cope well. Bit more pricey than some of the other local take aways but quality makes it worth it.”

  “We phoned in a big order on a Saturday night, 8 adults, 5 kids worth for pick up. Everything was still hot, fresh and really tasty. Big portions as well. New favourite takeaway.”
