Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the food itself, praising full flavour and large portions, with a beef masaman curry, chicken with cashew nuts, goong paad pong garee and pad krapao named as standouts. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly, welcoming and quick, and one reviewer says a problem was sorted straightaway. Diners also mention a good vegan selection, a set menu for two on Valentine's Day, and Black Sheep beer. The caveats cluster in two places. Several regulars say the food is not as good as under the previous name, Thailand No. One, and one reviewer found the chicken in a curry tasted highly processed. Two reviewers object to the service charge added to the bill. One notes the room fills with spice when someone orders a sizzling dish, and another found the decor dated and the service abrupt. Several suggest booking, since the restaurant was busy even on a Tuesday night, yet a solo diner without a reservation was still found a spot.

“Great restaurant, great staff and amazing food. We ordered numbers 38 and 51 (both one chilli rating but 51 was super hot) with a side of coconut rice. The food was delicious. The room does fill up with spice if someone orders a sizzling meal, so be mindful if you’re sensitive to spices. There’s a back room that can host a large group or private dining.”

“Absolutely fantastic Thai, the food here is really very good, the staff are lovely, and it’s reasonably priced. If you like Thai then you must visit here, it’s honestly one of the best Thai meals I’ve had outside of actually being in Thailand”

“Re visit 2006, love Thai food, the curry sauce was lovely but the chicken tasted highly processed, shame because the quality of the dish was so nice. Quite expensive but very tasty. I do understand that food is expensive these days, it wouldn't cost too much more to use good chicken I always object to a Service charge being added, good service should be the norm and tips discretionary, Otherwise it is a nice meal.”
