  “We stay at tattershall lakes quite often and weve had a Chinese from here before, its always been quite nice but not this time, Omg it was horrendous, its put me off forever, wont be going back, we had special chow mein, chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls, salt n pepper chips. The chicken balls were awful not chicken breast cheap thigh and soggy batter, the chow mein was tasteless,its the worst Chinese we've ever had and Chinese is my favourite takeaway. Very disappointing as we was really looking forward to it😟 All went in bin😭”

  “So tasty better than the Chinese take away we have at home . We collected and it was ready in 15 minutes absolutely delicious. My little girls absolutely loved the satay chicken”

  “Visiting Tattershall Lakes on holiday and looked up local Chinese takeaway. A few bad reviews but most recently better ones. Popped in early to collect a menu to a warm friendly welcome. What can I say? Bad reviews were either a 1 off or a lie. Had: Chicken chow mein. Brilliant, dry, not greasy. Bad reviews had said very soggy. Beef Curry. Lovely, not runny but nice and thick. Ribs. Now these can always be hit n miss with meat content but got around 6 in the box, 3 fair size and 3 massive, kids actually said those were the best they had. Pancake roll was decent and full. Sweet n sour chicken balls. Standard for me, as in they're pretty much the same everywhere. Egg fried rice, same as above. Mini spring rolls were nice n crispy. Only 2 downsides for me and 1 not criticising. 1. Crispy Seaweed not on the menu 😒 2. Coming from further south and living in a pretty high class area, the price is only slightly more than I pay locally. But overall the food quality was great 👍”

  “A couple of times we have visited at around 6 pm on a Friday and the salt and pepper chips have been reheated ,probably saved from previous night and also the egg fried rice tasted and had the texture of being reheated this is my experience of this takeaway ,previously later in the evening I have thoroughly enjoyed food from here but will now be travelling further afield.”

  “Stayed at the nearby lake caravan park and ordered for my family of 8. I thought the cuisine was fantastic the second best Chinese I’ve ever had. The best was in Banff Canada . I considered travelling here from Doncaster for a takeaway, it was that good”

  “First time ordering for delivery to Tattershall lake, suggested times was an hour, 45 mins later my delivery cane. Lovely hot tasty big portion, very happy”

  “Mmmmm... Unless anyone can tell me different, Magic Wok just pull prices out of the sky... Chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken balls + 2 x egg fried rice... Latest menu I saw £22 and a few pennies, can't remember exactly... Last night the price was £27.00, collected, not delivered. I cancelled and went to the Golden Phoenix in Woodhall Spa... Same food order, £21.80... I don't like to be ripped off... No more Magic Wok for me.”

  “Whenever we are out Tattershall or Woodhall way we do like to get a takeaway from the Magic Wok, the food is always piping hot and there is plenty of food for the money. We have been here several times and never been let down. The food is so tasty and I will be back. I recommend this takeaway 👌”

  “THE BEST CHINESE I’ve found in Lincolnshire! Dishes are made from fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Throughly happy - food packaged well, traveled well and kept warm after 30 min drive. Best capital ribs I’ve had and the duck was incredible. 👌 Will be making this my permanent takeaway!”
