“Good honest pub with hearty tasty food (and with a good selection for the obligatory vegetarian). Nicely busy, in fact quite busy but we were lucky to nab a table in the dog friendly section. The Loch Lomond ale was the best pint (or two) I had in Scotland (tasty and well kept). Bang opposite the ferry terminal so convenient for island hoppers.”

“Lovely old fashioned pub with home cooked food. We were a party of 6 and hadn't prebooked but they gave us a choice of two seating areas. Very friendly efficient staff, checking to make sure everything was ok. The roast was amazing, plenty of tender roast beef. Two of the party had the small portion size of steak pie with vegetables which was ample. Good value for money.”
