Quick info
About Pig + Pickle
Pig + Pickle is an independent coffee shop at 49-51 Market St in Kingswinford, serving breakfast, brunch, light lunch and sweet treats. The kitchen cures and smokes all its bacon in house, and that bacon runs through the menu from big British breakfasts to homemade quiche. Where possible, dishes are cooked from scratch with local fresh ingredients, and the breakfast list includes a slightly Cypriot breakfast. Coffee is pulled on an Italian-built espresso machine, and the drinks list covers a blueberry iced coffee, plus a crème egg latte at Easter. Gluten free options include a gluten free pork sandwich with roast potato and gravy, and vegan dishes are on the menu too.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly, attentive staff are the most repeated draw, with reviewers describing a warm welcome and quick service at breakfast. Close behind is the food, from a slightly Cypriot breakfast to pork sandwiches with roast potato and gravy, one made gluten free. A few also single out the vegan and gluten free choices. Coffee earns its own praise. One reviewer calls it the best in ages, one recommends the blueberry iced coffee, and another says the crème egg latte at Easter is a must try. Diners also mention good music and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Complaints are small. One diner found a nearby table so loud that conversation was hard, though they did not blame the venue, and another found it a bit pricier but felt the service and food justified it. One group of six arriving after a parkrun was squeezed in by the hostess.

“First time eating here. What a lovely place, and the food & drinks were amazing. Staff very attentive. One small negative, 3 ladies a couple of tables away were so loud that I could barely hear my daughter but obviously that's not the fault of the establishment. Music was great. Would definitely eat here again.”

“Really enjoyed our visit here. We were a large group, so we ordered ahead. Even though we weren't in the hustle and bustle of the main room, we were well looked after and the food arrived quickly. Very friendly service too. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again when I'm in the area. If you're driving, there are one or two parking spaces immediately outside the venue, but there's a car park - where you can park free for up to two hours - about 2 minutes walk away. Super convenient.”

Highlights
“A City Style Coffee Shop With A Village Style Customer Service. We are an independent, coffee shop serving up breakfast, brunch, light lunch & sweet treats. We absolutely "LOVE" coffee and have travelled far and wide for a decent cup so it goes without saying we needed the best espresso machine. So we have imported a top of the range, barista world championship, Italian built coffee machine, with a style to match its performance. An unmistakably beautiful piece of machinery. We also cure & smoke all our bacon in house here at the Pig + Pickle and we are so passionate about it that you will find it scattered around our menu from big British breakfasts to homemade quiche. Where possible we cook from scratch using local fresh ingredients.”
