  “Stein Kingston is, without a doubt, one of our family’s favourite places. Every friend or family member we’ve brought here has fallen in love with it too, and it’s become a place we happily recommend to everyone. The food is consistently outstanding, so a heartfelt thank you to the talented chefs, cooks, and everyone working behind the scenes. The quality, presentation, and flavours are always exceptional. What truly sets Stein Kingston apart, however, is its incredible team. Katja and Vanessa are absolute gems. They are always so warm, kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, making every guest feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Their professionalism is second to none, yet they never lose that personal touch that makes every visit feel special. They pay attention to the little details, and always go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a wonderful experience. Their positive energy, sincere smiles, and dedication create such a welcoming atmosphere that they are a huge part of why we keep coming back. A huge thank you to Katja, Vanessa, and the entire Stein Kingston team for your hard work, hospitality, and passion.   “Excellent Father's Day lunch at Stein Kingston, yesterday. Generous portions, which won't leave you feeling hungry! We ordered the chicken and veal schnitzel and apfelstrudel for dessert. All cooked and presented to perfection! Would definitely go again and recommend to others. Thank you to all the friendly staff who made our dining experience so enjoyable.”

  “I've stumbled here after a very hot day on the river. I saw the tables outside alongside the river and somehow there were empty tables so I walked in. I didn't really know if I was going to enjoy German food, I was so happily surprised because everything tasted delicious and I devoured the whole plate. I ordered beef sausages with mashed potatoes and salad. The portion was quite big and very filling. I also had dessert and it was also a big portion and very good. I loved sitting here during sunset time, it was extremely relaxing. Jakub was my young waiter and he was the sweetest, loveliest guy. He was attentive and came to check if everything was alright a few times. He also saved me by charging my phone for me! Thank you Jakub.”

  “Lovely place on the river with really nice staff. The food was good, not great. Veal schnitzel was breaded well and cooked well but the meat was tough with lots of chewy inedible bits. White asparagus salad with salmon was nice, but the smoked salmon was tough. Beer was good. Overall it was decent but disappointing.”

  “Always ahd a good experience and nice food here. If you love German sausages this is the place. Other recommendations are goulash soup, wiener schnitzel, and remember safe space for dessert.....”

  “Lovely, tasty comfort food, all the staff go over & above to make sure you have a good experience. I had the bratwurst, which is on top of a dressed salad, sautéed potatoes with onions & pancetta, my other half had the currywurst with similar sides - we cleared our plates & it was more than enough food, although I'd wished we'd shared goulash to start as that smelt unreal. They do a superb selection of beers, mine was a pint of Erdinger, the other half's was Fruuli The sharing platters looked great too, will definitely try one of those next time. Different flavours & a gem to Kingston”

  “We visited Stein’s in Kingston on a Saturday for lunch as a group of four, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. The restaurant itself was very clean, with a great atmosphere and music that really added to the overall experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. They checked in on us regularly without being intrusive, which made us feel very well looked after. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted authentic and full of flavour, you can really tell they take pride in their cuisine. I recommend the Schweinshaxe and Kaiserschmarrn. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely visit again. I highly recommend Stein’s if you’re looking for authentic German food paired with excellent service.”

  “This was our 3rd visit to Stein’s Kingston. We booked a table, but arrived an hour early 🙈 We were treated by friendly staff and were found another table straight away. The service was great, the staff are super friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, we started with most divine selection of breads, followed up with Farmers Feast and Cordon Bleu Breaded Pork all with sautéed potatoes and finished with Ice cream Affogato and Cheesecake. To top it all up, it was Valentines Day, the restaurant was nicely decorated and we were given cheeky little sweets to take home. Thank you all at Stein’s Kingston for a wonderful evening of food and a great service. 🤩”
