  “Ordered through Just Eat. Possibly the worst, and smallest doner kebab I've ever had - paid almost £9 for a large, far from it, about the size of my hand. The doner was clearly not from a spit but reheated in either a microwave or bain-marie, essentially reducing it to bland mush, with zero texture and yet an overwhelming flavour of cumin? Bizarre. Properly disgusting. What I actually wanted was some peri peri chicken. Whatever sauce they'd used was beyond grim, potentially off. The chicken looked as if it had been cooked separately without colour or seasoning, then had the sauce applied at the last second. It was intensely sour, in a fake lemon/citric acid way. The whole thing was quite weird honestly. The menu over promises and vastly under delivers. Even the 1/4 pounder beef burger, which tastes almost identical from every takeaway, was burnt around the edges and dry to the point of no return. There were some complimentary chicken nuggets and chips with the order as I'd spent over a given threshold on Just Eat - even they were dreadful. Nuggets had less flavour than the Tesco value alternative, you could taste the filler. The chips were fried within an inch of their life, grim. As I poured them out onto a plate you could hear them "clang" haha. Overall I didn't eat half the food, and the other half left me feeling empty, disappointed, and wondering why I didn't just go to the supermarket and pick up something fresh. Steer clear. Put me off takeaways for a good long while, a good reminder of how poor they can be unfortunately.”

  “Bought a chilli chicken box meal for 8.99, everything was stone cold, went back to get a refund, the man refused and said I'll give you something else, I then ordered the peri peri chicken wings when I opened the food it was chicken strips and they were horrible.”
