  “Absolutely awful. I cannot believe what we received tonight. It was hands down the worst chinese we have EVER received. The Aromatic Crispy duck was slimy, the skin was almost like jelly... obviously had been reheated, even the cucumber was off. The chicken balls were soggy and the BBQ sauce was cold and congealed. The salt & pepper chips were so greasy / soggy I even tried to put them in the airfryer to crisp up.... so soggy the airfryer couldn't even help! Needless to say, it's all in the bin and we are extremely disappointed 😞 Please do better golden lake... it really was unacceptable”

  “Generous portions, delicious food. I can't speak highly enough of their food. It's fresh and, for collection, it's very quick. The different styles of ribs are all delicious, I love the Golden Lake Special Hot Ribs. The chow mien is very tasty. The different meat and seafood dishes have great sauces and plenty of meat/fish/prawns.”

  “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent food from Golden Lake. Everything was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. Generous portions, good prices, and fast service. The staff were friendly and polite. Highly recommend Golden Lake if you’re looking for a reliable and tasty Chinese takeaway. This is only takeaway I go to lady at front of house is very polite and friendly”

  “Waited for nearly one and half hour for delivery driver don't now were they were going... Person on phone keep saying 10 more minutes...... Food was just warm 😤”

  “Always had lovely food, but what let's them down is they fail to read the instructions for allergies, had food delivered a few times with ingredients we have allergies too. When calling to complain they will offer a discount for next tike but you don't get it. However they will send out a replacement meal if requested. Otherwise food has always been nice when they get it correct”

  “Ordered tonight and all I can say is not even my teenager would eat his. Both rice dishes dry. Salt and Pepper chicken no taste what so ever. Not the first time it’s been a let down but it will be the last. When you call up to complain about the dry tasteless food the lady is not interested as they have already taken your money. Never again.”

  “This Chinese makes the best Hot and Sour soup around one of the best I have ever had really filling and really 🔥 hot also do very nice Salt and pepper chicken 🐔 the staff are always helpful and give good service”

  “Just had 2 beef curry, 1 egg fried rice and 1 portion of dehydrated chips. The sauce in the curry was runny and tasteless. The chips were inedible, burnt and dehydrated. We are very dissatisfied normally the food is great. This is the second time we have had poor meals.”
