“Alex and the other staff were outstanding. I'd booked by email but we were late arriving. Our party of 7 people and 2 dogs were welcomed, attentively served but not hurried or pressured. The food was excellent quality and value, and so delicious, 2 coeliacs and a dairy intolerance well catered for and not made to feel like we were a bother. By the time we left, we realised they had kept the restaurant open just for us. Beyond hospitality. I wish we lived closer but we were on holiday on the canal.”
