  “We recently held a 60th birthday party in the back function room at The Hop Pole Hotel, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The function room was the ideal size for our celebration, with plenty of tables and chairs for all of our guests, creating a brilliant atmosphere without ever feeling cramped. The team took care of all the catering, and the food was outstanding. Every dish was fresh, plentiful and delicious, and so many of our guests commented on how amazing it was. To top it all off, there was a live act performing on the night who was fantastic and had everyone entertained, making an already special evening even more memorable. What really made the night stand out, though, was the incredible staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, attentive and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. If you’re looking for a venue for a party or special occasion, we honestly couldn’t recommend The Hop Pole Hotel highly enough. They helped create a night we’ll never forget, and we’ll definitely be returning. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making it such a fantastic celebration!”

  “We have just returned from a meal in Hop Pole (for the second time this weekend) with family. The food is always brilliant and the staff go above and beyond every time. We have two young children and Toyah, the assistant manager always goes out of her way to speak to them, as well as us, every time we go in. We love how welcoming they are for families and the atmosphere is always great. Thank you to Toyah, Laura and Liv for 10/10 customer service as usual today.”

  “Went for evening meal with the wife. The food was very tasty and the menu different to other local pubs. Service was met with a welcoming smile, and the dining prompt and very attentive. Credit goes to Jess for being such a delight.”

  “Popped in on Saturday night, good atmosphere, DJ on.. Bit weird as only two people dancing however it may have been the time we went in. Cozy pub, spacious and lots of sports tvs around.”

  “Food is fantastic and at a very high quality with rarely a long wait time. Staff are all welcoming and incredibly hard working. The split between the restaurant and bar area works great for keeping the two atmospheres separate, so you can enjoy your meal in peace whilst a big game is going on. The size of the pub itself is it's biggest strength and weakness in my opinion, offering a humble (but still high quality) dining experience but sometimes struggle to make room for the crowds drawn in by live entertainment. Overall a wonderful place to drink, dine and socialise. Massive kudos to the staff (both front of house and kitchen) for creating an environment I love to bring family and friends to when visiting Willerby.”

  “Visited the Hop Pole Pub recently and had a really nice experience. The food was very tasty and clearly well prepared. The pub itself was also very clean and well looked after, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming. Overall, a great place to go for a meal — I’d definitely come back again!”

  “Loved the Hop Pole since it rebranded as a Sizzling pub! Lovely food last night and service was great. Couple of minor issues: booked a table for 7.30. Was told at 7.40 food orders have to be in by 7.45pm. Is this a general rule on a Saturday? Can no-one order food after 7.45pm? This seems early for a Saturday night? Perhaps would have been better to know when we sat down at 7.15pm, or when we booked online. Even as I was ordering at the bar, a lady told me we had to order by 7.45pm, as the lad at the bar was taking the order just before then! Lady seemed a little abrupt and a smile wouldn't have gone amiss. Also, were told at 9.15pm no under 18s were allowed in beyond 9.30pm. Not an issue, as we had pretty much finished. Absolutely fine by us, but might be better to have known when we booked or when food was brought out to us. Hopefully feedback will be received as intended to help be even better as we did really enjoy it. We love it here and when we come over from Manchester, always drop in! Very good and top night!”

  “The hop pole is a large but cosy pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, there is a wide choice of beers, lager and cider including cask conditioned real ale. The pub is very popular for its good food. The pub also has live music at the weekend and I have been to see some really good bands here. There is an outside seating area and a car park.”

  “Fantastic Food at The Hop Pole! Just had a fantastic meal at The Hop Pole and couldn't wait to share my experience! The food was absolutely top-notch - everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Whether you're a pub food traditionalist or looking for something more adventurous, I'm sure you'll find something to love on the menu. The staff were just brilliant too. Super friendly and attentive, they made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They were happy to answer questions and offer recommendations, which was a big help. And let's not forget the prices! The Hop Pole offers fantastic value for money. You won't break the bank enjoying a delicious meal and a friendly atmosphere. Overall, I can't recommend The Hop Pole highly enough. Great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices - what more could you ask for? It's definitely a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered!”
