  “First time eating here with my partner and we had an amazing time, We turned up and all the staff were smiley and helpful and clearly all have a good reparte with each other and the guests, they were very helpful with the menu as we were a little clueless on what we fancied. Once the food came out we knew we were in for a good time, the poppadoms came with lots of condiments which we love and then we got our mains. To be honest I have no idea what the chicken curry we got was called as it was a recommendation from our waiter but my god... it was phenomenal paired with the flavourful mushroom rice and buttery garlic naan. We also got butterflied prawns with onion which were also incredible. 11/10 great service great food good value highly recommend.”

  “Ordered three dishes — chicken tikka masala, bhindi and brinjal. All of them were completely flat: no flavour, no seasoning, no texture. The chicken tikka masala even had coconut in it and was so sweet it was closer to a dessert than a curry. Nothing tasted like proper Indian food. I can genuinely cook better versions of these dishes at home. If this is their standard, they need to rethink the basics. Really disappointing meal. I won’t be ordering again or visiting the restaurant, even if it were free.”

  “My friend and I have been to the Rajkumar several times now and it is always wonderful. The service is spot on, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Even though it's popular it still feels private enough to chat comfortably. I like to try something different every time I go in and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended. Thank you for having us.”

  “Easily the best curry house I've been in and the best chicken I've ever had (we had the Haryali Tikka-Masala). The food was all unbelievably delicious, I can't recommend this place enough. The service was consistently attentive and friendly and the decor is well designed and well lit. Great price too. Thank you Rajkumar!”
