  “2 is being generous, poor service from the get go about 20 mins to be asked for drinks. In all fairness the prawns for starter were bang on but unfortunately it’s not a sea food restaurant, my mates said the bread in the basket wasn’t brilliant either with the bread being stale, after a nice starter we waited a whopping 55 minutes for our mains to be bitterly disappointed. Friendly staff, poor service and all round a poor Italian for something so highly rated 👍🏼”

  “Went with my family for lunch at So Dough in Holmfirth and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is very family-friendly, and the staff were so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. Everything was cooked to perfection, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. A special mention to Bella and Lewin, who provided excellent service and really made us feel welcome. They even made me a bespoke off-menu cocktail, which tasted absolutely fantastic – a lovely touch that made the experience even more memorable. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back. I would highly recommend So Dough to anyone looking for great food, outstanding service, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.”

  “Our first visit to So Dough , to celebrate my birthday . We booked our table for 4.30 , we were.seated straight away , the place is very spacious inside , with lots of quirky hand drawn posters . We love love pizza , our pizzas were delicious. Im vegetarian , I asked whether the parmasan cheese was veggie , they made sure that both my salad and pizza were fully to bursting with yummy cheese and it tasted amazing . We will definitely recommend and come.back again 😊”

  “Came here with friends on a really rainy day and the hearty, large pizzas were just what we needed. The dough was so soft and fresh and the crust was perfectly crispy. Plenty of choice on the menu as well! Delicious”

  “Really great and tasty food! We had the arancini to start which was fantastic and gf. Followed by two pizzas and a side salad. The service was quick and friendly. My pizza was the GOAT on a gluten free base and it’s one of the best gf pizzas I’ve had in a while! Would definitely recommend!”

  “Great pizza place in Holmfirth, it's hard to get decent pizzas in this area, we have found a nice daytime cafe for pizza but for evenings this is the only pizza place we use. The pizzas are just the correct thickness and are cooked to perfection, not doughy and not soggy, the choices are interesting and all very delicious. The cocktails are really nice and there's usually a special. The desserts are excellent and we love our good desserts! Ideal for large family groups as they have the option of being able to accommodate large tables and are open early evening so not too late for the little ones. Love to watch the big wood fired oven working.”

  “Fantastic pizza place! Freshly cooked pizza with open kitchen. You can see your pizza be cooked! Staff were lovely and also very funny. Putting up with all our requests and recommending ways to accommodate to our needs. Their amaretto sours is perhaps the best I’ve ever tried. Pizza was also tasty. It gets a bit smokey due to the open oven but doesn’t impact the overall experience.”

  “Went twice last week. Both times the pizza was absolutely delicious. The first time with my husband and stepdaughter, the second time with a friend. We all had different pizza, but everyone agreed it was beautiful. For me, as a vegan, thank goodness for vegan cheese. However, don't advertise all pizza can be made vegan, when you don't have the different cheese/meat alternative. So, no, they cant all be made vegan. But, they are delicious pizza, great staff, and i highly recommend”

  “The pizzas are not out of this world and honestly not really that great for the high price. Very average food quality. Thicker pizzas will be better at least. The restaurant is super clean and the staff is nice and helpful.”
