Lahori Chaska
Quick info
About Lahori Chaska
On Coldharbour Ln in Hayes, Lahori Chaska is an Indian restaurant with a handful of tables, though most orders go out as takeaway. The menu runs through home-style dishes such as Daal, Achari Chicken and Nihari, alongside chicken biryani, naan and paya. A whole Lahori charga chicken with a kebab roll and a drink is offered as a combo, and keema naans are available individually. During Ramadan the kitchen puts out a sehri menu, and around Eid customers can place orders for special occasions, including large naan orders. The entrance is step-free and wheelchair accessible, making it workable for visitors with mobility needs. It opens daily and takes walk-ins rather than bookings, and card payments are accepted alongside the counter service.

Customer Review Summary
The criticism is sharper but less common. One reviewer found the chapatis extremely thick, the chicken curry far too salty with the spice balance off, and the Gajrela watery with no nuts or toppings. Another received chilli paneer described as dipped in oil. A third felt some dishes lacked flavour and called the place built for takeaway rather than dining in. Even so, the Achari Chicken with roti earned that reviewer's strongest praise, and the same visitor said they would return for a good meal at a good price.

“I enjoyed my experience. Staff treated us well and food is great. Will be coming again for sure.”

“I had a very disappointing experience with the food. The chapatis were extremely thick and did not feel fresh or soft. The chicken curry was also not good — the spice balance was completely off, and the salt was far too much, which ruined the taste. The Gajrela was equally disappointing. It lacked the rich milk flavor it should have and instead tasted watery. There were no nuts or proper toppings, making it feel very plain and low quality. Overall, the food did not meet expectations at all.”

“I’m a regular customer at Lahori Chaska Hayes, and they are genuinely outstanding. The food is always full of flavour, the service is consistently excellent, and they never compromise on quality. Every visit or order feels reliable and satisfying. Truly one of the best places around — Guyzz highly recommended.”

“I placed an eid order for 21 keema naans thankfully it was made on time. Fresh tasty and really filling the naans were £4 each and a big size if compared to other places this was very reasonable. Thank you and I will come again!”

“Staff and food are both lovely. We eat out soon much. This restaurant stole our heart. We went on sehri menu in Ramadan and believe me, outstanding. We had bhuna gosht special order and halwa china poori.....try and worth your money. They're reasonable too”
