“A very nice Chinese. Food was decent and cooking time was great. Delivery charge is a bit much so we had to pick up otherwise it would have cost another £12 to have it delivered 9 miles.”

“Honestly don’t waste your money here. It was £7.50 for lemon chicken and they charge for a bag. The lemon chicken was honestly some of the worst I’ve had, it’s wasn’t even actual chicken breast. It was just chicken balls covered in lemon syrup and they added peppers and onions which worsened the taste further. Honestly terrible don’t go to this place”

“After reading the reviews we were a little apprehensive about ordering. However we are so pleased we did. Enjoyed the food. Ordering was so easy with a very patient chap taking the order.( me having trouble finding my purse!!) Service pleasing and quick delivery so have no qualms about recommending Portfield Chinese Takeaway. Enjoyed the chicken chow mein and sweet & sour chicken with boiled rice. 10/10”

“In all honesty, I'm not one for leaving poor reviews, but I couldn't recommend this takeaway. The staff were very pleasant and it seemed like a traditional takeaway. However, the chicken curry was like rubber and watery, I asked for rice and got chips, and for £16, the value and taste just wasn't there. The spring roll was also poor. Come on Portfield, surely you can do better than this considering what you have to offer.”
