  “Whenever I use the Stena ferry I try to buy fish & chips from here. They never disappoint. Lovely tasting fish in crisp batter. Medium portion was plenty.”

  “Ordered cod, chicken pie, savoloy and chips. Cod was ok and pie was decent. But chips had a weird flavour and a bit soggy. The food was also a little bit cold when we got home. But curry sauce was nice and tasty A bit of a tense atmosphere inside, like the staff were about to have an argument over orders. But the guy cooking the fish seemed cheerful. Also, a young child entered behind the counter and was coughing heavily with her mouth open over all the food. The parents seemed annoyed and told her to leave. It was a little worrying and ruined the appetite”

  “This family run fish and chip shop serves the local community with a smile. Sam is always on hand and ready to serve. The food is always delicious and the fish bar is spotlessly clean. You can order in advance by calling ahead before collection. Delivery service is not available, but it is well worth the drive to experience this very good fish bar.”

  “Very friendly service. The chips and battered sausage were very good. The cod was very nice although the batter a bit soggy they were generous sizes, even the small. The place looked clean. You have to wait which is fine I think when you are getting food made freshly. We were missing an item but didn't mind too much because the chips were so nice. Would use again.”
